How do I know what filter to buy?
Trying to figure out what filters are the right fit for your hot tub is a common frustration. So let's make this EASY!
First you want to identify what model spa you have and when it was manufactured. Your serial number plate (on the inside of your spa's equipment compartment will ID this). Or if you bought your spa from Jacuzzi Hot Tubs of the Triangle, just call Phoebe and she can tell you!
Most older J-100™ & J-200™ collection models (thru February 2023) use one of two filters. The J-115 & J-125 use a 50 sq. ft. filter, 373045J. The J-210 (2005+), J-215 & J-225 (2016+), J-235, J-245 and J-275 (2012+) models use a 50 sq.ft. filter, 373045J. The J-280 model (2007+) use a larger 95 sq.ft. filter, 2540-381J.
Most CURRENT model J-200™ collection models (March 2023-current) use the oval style 50 sq.ft. filter, 6451-853J.
Most J-300™ collection models (2002+) use two of the 60 sq.ft filters, 6000-383AJ.
Most J-400™ collection models (2013+) use three unique filters that combined are referred to as the ProClarity™ Filter System. One 60 sq. ft. filter, 6000-383AJ. One 40 sq. ft. filter, 6473-157J. And one disposable "depth load" filter that should be disposed of and replaced at least every 3 months, 6473-161J.
Most J-500™ collection models (2015+) also use the ProClarity™ Filter System. See filter part numbers above.
Most J-LX™ & J-LXL™ collection models (2011-2019) use two of the 60 sq.ft filters, 6000-383AJ.
